Parrots are very colorful birds and very trainable. It’s not that they talk, but they mimic whatever they hear. (Everyone who watched Sesame Street as a kid knows that.) It’s no wonder that these wonderful birds are a joy to keep as pets.
Parrots and macaws are some of the largest bird pets which you can still put in a cage. Any larger and you need a lawn to keep them (for peacocks or ostriches) or a free-range and a coop for chickens and turkeys, or a pond and lake for swans and geese. Considering how tame parrots are, they are very content with a perch or a parrot stand, inside their cage.
Prancing around their cages and perching on their stand, parrots would walk around the cage bobbing their heads, like a reggae band to the beat of their own music. The parrot stand is a necessary item inside the cage, they also sleep on the stand as well.
